The Challenge
Being part of a project like Red Barnet Ungdom means engagement, dedication, and love for what you are doing. Introdus provides a way to help volunteers understand their role and get help with their tasks.
One of the biggest duties is teaching and training volunteers so they can give their best for the children around the world. With voluntary work, acquiring this knowledge has to be almost like a game. The platform to e-teach them must be easy and simple to use, fun, and able to engage those volunteers.
The Solution
Save the Children/Youth (Red Barnet Ungdom) uses Introdus to introduce their volunteers to the organisation’s goals, values, and mission and help them understand what it is to be a volunteer. Because the ones they are sharing this with are new volunteers, most of them don’t have any experience. That’s why “it’s important for us to show them and give them information about what it means to be a volunteer”.
They’ve been using Introdus for a little more than 2 years. “We don’t use it necessarily for our Preboarding or Onboarding for our staff, it’s more for our volunteers. And from our perspective, we have good results with Introdus”.

Results
Over the past 2 years, they’ve invited 1.400 volunteers to Introdus, which they call their eLearning. “Just to make it clear, it’s not something they have to go through. Our e-learning is just an offering for them,” highlights Ryan.
Of those 1.400, 58% of people have finished the whole eLearning, 20% are still ongoing, and 22% of them haven’t yet started the link.
In Red Barnet Ungdom’s case, “It’s a really good result. We look at it as a very successful one when it’s 58% out of 1.400 volunteers. You can say what makes it special for us, in a good way, is that these are volunteering people. They’re not obligated to take the link, they’re not working for us where they would probably feel more obligated to finish it, it’s just an offer.
Conclusion
Red Barnet Ungdom is one of the companies that has been with introdus since the very beginning. “From my experience and from some of my colleagues who used to be a part of the experience, we’ve always had a good partnership and relationship with introdus,” confessed Ryan.
“introdus always been open to the feedback that we give and has always been open to our challenges and needs and have always tried to find some kind of a solution. I appreciate the support and the conversations that I had, the help, the service, the support I had with everyone from the Main CEO Anders, to Stefan and the tech guy Martin.”
As an NGO, “It’s also important for us to work with the people behind the system. There’s probably a lot of other companies that can offer us similar IT systems and tools, but what differentiates introdus is the people behind it.”
