Why is there a need to develop a strong market leader within onboarding?
Kasper, CEO of Introdus, highlighted a concrete and crucial header: “The whole area of Pre & Onboarding is exploding”. The most important reason is that “companies from all industries are really looking for ways to get their new employees up and running faster than ever”. This is a fact that Introdus takes into consideration helping both employees and the organisation. That’s why Kasper remarked: “We see a need to deliver a better end-to-end solution”.
At the same time, Anders, CCO of Introdus, corroborates the above and explains who is really the Pre & Onboarding market: “It’s, of course, HR, our clients, but maybe even more important the employees”. Introdus is an employee-centric solution, it’s made by employees and for employees.
What will the joint company be able to do differently?
Both founders of Introdus have been listening to their clients and their employees for around 6 years working in the field. They keep doing this practice, so Kasper can directly explain what Introdus’ clients are looking for: “There are basically two things. Number one, they are looking to understand what is good onboarding. The other aspect is saying, how do we make it a fun and a digital experience?”.
Anders explained it in a clear way: “One thing is having the engine, but if you don’t know what to put in the engine, you will get nowhere. So, we were looking for a partner in understanding the trigger points.” So, the question for the companies is: “What kind of content should be served to the employees at the right time?” Knowing this information, the next step is to turn on “the engine”, the platform, and start working in the most effective way.
How you will continue to professionalise onboarding in the market?
Companies invest a big part of the budget in hiring, but they forget in many cases the onboarding process. An SHRM Human Capital Benchmarking report states that the Cost-per-Hire average is $4,129.
“You spend a lot of money recruiting these new people. You need to bring them up to speed as fast as possible”, highlighted Kasper. “And everyone deserves a chance to be successful.”
How can companies make this happen? How you should build a people-centric Pre & Onboarding process? Anders gave us the answer: “Make it easy, make it seamlessly, and make it efficient, and then you have something unique.”
