Pre & Onboarding Quotes

When I went on the first day, there were still a lot of new things to learn, but I felt ready. You have to, when you have 200 passengers behind you.

Juan’s Beginnings as a Pilot

“At the beginning, I was very excited because it was something I’ve always wanted to do (becoming a pilot), and it was my first job as a pilot. It was a very big step in my career.”

Pre & Onboarding Experiences

I previously worked in aviation, so it was not a new world but I was still really eager to learn and enthusiastic about starting my job.

Onboarding and Training

It was a bit challenging. Initially, I had to move to the Netherlands and there were a lot of changes but it was more excitement I felt than worry.

At the very beginning, the initial part of the training is extremely important in our job. We have 3-month training in order to be able to fly a particular model of plane. It’s a long process and we went through a lot of training and onboarding. So when I went on the first day, there still were a lot of new things for me to learn, but I felt ready. You have to when you have 200 passengers behind you.
